IL is a government of india owned company which hires young Engineers and place them as Management
Trainees (Technical) at their manufacturing unit at Palakkad, Kerala. They rate this unit as having world class expertise in manufacture of Control Valves and is claimed to be the first Control Valve Company in India that has got ISO 9001 Certification in 1994.
1. Management Trainees
Qualification
First Class Engineering Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering (10% relaxation in marks for SCs/STs). Candidates having M.Tech/ ME or equivalent in the same discipline would have preference.
Selection Process
- Written Test
- Interview
33 years for SCs/STs & 31 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) as on 01.09.2010. Relaxable by 2 years for candidates having M.Tech/ME Degree.
Training
One year (After successful completion of training may be absorbed in the Company’s employment).
Salary
- Stipend Rs.15,000/- pm (all inclusive) for Engineering Graduates.
- PG Engineering Degree holders after acquiring BE/B.Tech will be offered regular pay scale of Rs. 8600-250-14600.
- IDA and other allowances as per rules of the Company.
Service Bond to serve the Company for a minimum period of 4 years after successful completion of training and bond money is Rs. 1 lakh.

Interested candidates should apply in the prescribed application form obtainable from the Sr. Personnel Officer, Instrumentation Limited, Kanjikode West – 678 623, Palakkad, Kerala within 15 days from the publication of this advertisement by furnishing a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at Palakkad, favouring Instrumentation Limited, along with self addressed and stamped (Rs. 5/-) envelope of size 26cm x 12cm. SC/ST/PH persons are exempted from application fee on production of relevant certificate. The completed applications should reach within 30 days of publication of this advertisement.
