The Institute invites applications for the following position from Indian nationals possessing excellent academic record and relevant experience:
Assistant Registrar (Finance and Accounts) – 1 Post
Pay Band + Grade Pay :
Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Rs. 5,400
Qualification / Experience :
M.Com. preferably with first class or its equivalent grade with minimum 6 years experience in finance and accounts in Government Department / University / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Research Institution in the pay scale of Rs. 6,500 – 10,500 (pre-revised) OR CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) with 2 years of relevant experience in Government Department / University / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Research Institution in supervisory grade OR 3 years experience in reputed private organization in supervisory grade.
Essential :
Sound knowledge of the Central Government Rules pertaining to finance and accounts including FRSR, GFR, audit, service conditions, pay roll management, bank reconciliation, budgeting, management of funds, closing of annual books of accounts, cash and banking operations, etc. with working experience in computerized environment and knowledge of latest Tally version is desirable.

General Information / details about the post
1) The above post is as per the Central Government pay scale and carry allowances like House Rent, Transport and Children’s Education as admissible to Central Government employees posted in Pune.
2) The post is covered by New Pension Scheme of Govt. of India and will be eligible for other benefits like Medical, LTC, etc. as per the Government / Institute norms.
3) The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities / Institutions.
4) Reservation as per Govt. of India norms will be followed.
5) Age should not exceed the limit as on the closing date of receipt of completed application. However, age relaxation will be considered in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physical handicapped and Ex-servicemen applicants as applicable.
6) The post could be considered for filling up on deputation basis on Foreign Service terms in case of the applicant working in Govt. organization / Public sector undertaking / Govt. funding research agencies. Such applicants should forward their application through proper channel and with a clear certificate that the applicant will be relieved within one month of receipt of appointment order, if selected. However, an advance copy of application can be sent before the last date.
7) The prescribed Essential Qualifications / Experience indicated are bare minimum and mere possession of same will not entitle the applicants to be called for interview. Where number of applications received in response to an advertisement is large, it may not be convenient or possible for the Institute to interview all the applicants. The Institute may restrict the number of applicants to be called for written exam / skill test / interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than that of the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. The applicants should, therefore, furnish details of all the qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant field, over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed along with attested photocopies of marks sheets / certificates.
8) Relaxation in age, educational qualification and / or experience will be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious applicants, with prior approval of the Competent Authority.
9) Outstation applicants called for interview will be paid to and fro 3 AC rail fare / ordinary bus fare. All these reimbursements will be paid from the normal place of their residence or that declared in the application or from the actual place of undertaking the journey, whichever is nearer to the place of the interview, as per rules.
10) No interim enquiries / correspondence / communication of any sort will be entertained on the matter.
11) Canvassing in any form and / or bringing any influence, political, or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.
12) Application incomplete in any respect and not accompanied by relevant certificates / documents / photograph will be summarily rejected.
